Shane Jasper re-elected board president; Kelly and Lewis elected officers at Troup ISD

"Lisa Lewis nominated Shane Jasper to serve as President of the Board," the minutes record; each nomination was uncontested and the nominees abstained from votes on their own offices. The board recorded the officer elections as motions carried 6-0-1 for each position.
The officer votes followed the swearing-in of trustees and routine opening business. The meeting roster showed all seven trustees present: Jasper, Kelly, Lisa Lewis, Vic Bansal, Homer Dickey, Ty Lindsey and Jake Howard. The board then moved to committee and administrative reports.
