Pitman Borough Council passed Resolution No. 173, 2024 on Nov. 12 to authorize a closed session for personnel matters, moved into closed session at 7:32 p.m. and reopened the regular meeting at 7:44 p.m.
The resolution was moved by Councilperson James and seconded by Councilman Uyehara; the roll call recorded unanimous yes votes. The minutes show the council followed the closed-session motion with a subsequent motion to re-open the regular meeting (motion: Bially; second: Milward).
Borough Solicitor Vigilante discussed possible changes to procedural timeframes to consider before introduction of Ordinance No. 16, 2024. Separately, Mayor Razze announced that applications for the Santa Parade close on Friday, Nov. 15.
No formal action on Ordinance No. 16 or on specific timeframe amendments was taken at the work session; the solicitor's comments were advisory and for council consideration prior to the ordinance's introduction.
