The Borough of Clayton council adopted the 2026 municipal budget under Resolution 105-26 following a public hearing on May 14, 2026. The adoption passed on a unanimous roll-call vote: Wolak, Rollo, Chapes, Moorhouse, Vondran and Long all voted yes.
CFOs Bob Law and Mary Lavelle told council the State budget examiner contacted them that morning with questions related to the budget; the requested materials were provided and the examiner granted approval at 4:30 p.m. that day. Council previously passed Resolution 104-A-26 to permit reading the budget by title only and Resolution 104-B-26 to amend the budget prior to final adoption. The public hearing produced no public comments or questions.
