Pitman Borough Council approved covering the $1,699 cost of a Water and Wastewater Program course at Rowan College of South Jersey for a Water/Sewer Department employee, conditioned on successful completion and the employee's contractual agreement to reimburse the borough if they leave within three years.
Administrator McCafferty briefed the council that the employee requested borough coverage of the $1,699 course fee for a January session, and that the employee understands the contractual obligation to reimburse the borough if they resign within three years. Council voted to approve payment, contingent on successful completion and adherence to the reimbursement provision (motion: Bially; second: Milward).
