Board approves multiple policy second readings unanimously

The Santiam Canyon School Board approved multiple policies on second reading under Agenda Item 6.1 by a unanimous vote on April 13. Policies approved included CPA (Layoff/Recall - Administrative Personnel), EBBA (Student Health Services), EBC (Emergency Plan and First Aid), EBCA (Safety Threats), EBCB (Emergency Procedure Drills and Instruction), ECAD (Security Officer), EDC/KGF (Authorized Use of District Equipment and Materials), JHC (Student Health Services and Requirements - DELETE), and KGF/EDC (Authorized Use of District Equipment and Materials).
Mr. Carl Anderson moved to approve the policies "listed under Agenda Item 6.1 as presented," and Mrs. Melissa Allison seconded; the motion passed 5-0. The board also reviewed and accepted the superintendent evaluation after Mrs. Reeser read the evaluation; Mrs. Allison moved to accept it and Mr. Anderson seconded, and that motion likewise passed unanimously.
