The board approved a package of interlocal agreements and memoranda of understanding for the 2026–27 school year on May 25. Agreements include partnerships with South Texas College for Dual Credit, P‑TECH and Early College High School programs; a STEMACES memorandum of understanding with Angelo State University for a university‑based STEM program; and participation in purchasing cooperatives including TASB, Choice Partners (Harris County DECO), PACE, several ESC purchasing cooperatives, OMNIA Partners, Sourcewell and Region 19 Allied States Cooperative.
Jesus Garza, Valley View High School principal, and Interim Superintendent Dr. Monica Luna were listed as presenters for specific items; Finance Director Sandra Martinez presented cooperative participation and procurement implications. The motions passed unanimously among trustees present (4‑0; three absent). The agreements allow the district to continue dual‑credit pathways, pursue university STEM partnerships, and use cooperative procurement vehicles for purchasing in 2026–27.
