Clayton Council unanimously adopts new grading code and updates 2026 pay ordinance

Both measures moved after a brief open-and-close of public comment and passed on unanimous roll call—Councilmembers Wolak, Rollo, Chapes, Moorhouse, Vondran and Long voting yes.
The ordinances were advanced as routine business at the work session; the record shows council used the standard motion process for adoption and recorded the roll-call votes. The new grading chapter replaces existing local grading rules; the salary ordinance updates pay and compensation schedules for borough personnel for 2026. The council did not record any public speakers on either ordinance during the brief public-comment opportunity.
The ordinances will be published and take effect according to the borough's standard adoption process and timing.
