Councilwoman Lauren Dayton sworn in; board completes roll call and approves minutes

At the Jan. 28 meeting Chairwoman Mary Beth Wilmit opened the session and Planning Board attorney Andrew Coder administered Oaths of Office including to Councilwoman Lauren Dayton; the board also approved minutes of the Jan. 14 reorganization meeting by voice vote.
Chairwoman Mary Beth Wilmit called the Tenafly Planning Board meeting to order at 7:35 p.m. and noted compliance with the Sunshine Law. Planning Board attorney Andrew Coder administered Oaths of Office, including the oath for Councilwoman Lauren Dayton as the Class III member with a term expiring Jan. 1, 2027.
Following roll call, Mayor Mark Zinna moved and Jon Warms seconded approval of the minutes from the special public reorganization meeting held Jan. 14, 2026; a voice vote carried the motion with all eligible members voting in favor.
The board recorded members present and absent in the minutes and noted others present for the meeting, including the board attorney, engineer and planner.
