Superintendent Dr. Ron Lilie presented a resolution from the governor designating Oct. 8, 2025 as Texas Education Human Resources Day. The board adopted the resolution by unanimous vote during the Sept. 22 meeting. The resolution recognizes the role of Human Resources in recruiting, retaining and supporting staff and encourages the district community to acknowledge HR team members.
The board also approved the consent agenda, which included the financial reports and minutes from the prior meeting, on a unanimous motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:31 p.m.; the minutes record the final motions and the unanimous vote to adjourn.
