Palatine Liquor Commission approves temporary licenses for parish celebration and downtown festival

The Palatine Liquor Commission granted Class E temporary liquor licenses for Saint Thomas Villanova Parish's St. Patrick's and St. Joseph's Day celebration and for the Village's 2016 Downtown Palatine Street Fest (Aug. 26–28).
The Palatine Liquor Commission convened after the council adjourned and approved two Class E temporary liquor licenses. The first license was for the St. Patrick's and St. Joseph's Day celebration at Saint Thomas Villanova Parish, 1201 East Anderson Drive; no public testimony was offered and the commission voted in favor.
The commission then considered and approved a Class E temporary liquor license for the Village of Palatine's 2016 Downtown Palatine Street Fest scheduled for Aug. 26–28, 2016. Staff reported no objections to the request, commissioners voted aye, and the commission adjourned. The approvals allow beverage service for the named events per standard temporary-license conditions and local rules.
