Fire policy committee signs off on spring 2016 newsletter topics; council to review draft

The Fire Policy & Community Information Committee approved a slate of proposed topics for the village's spring 2016 newsletter and set a timeline to distribute the newsletter the first week of March.
"We are in the process of pulling together the information for the next newsletter as you can see in the in the packet," staff member Hagen told the committee. Hagen said staff would bring a draft newsletter back to the full council at one of the next meetings. A council member suggested adding a routine reminder about proper procedures for pulling over for buses and emergency vehicles; committee staff said they would add the suggestion to the draft.
The committee's approval was forwarded to the council and placed on the consent calendar for final action.
