Palatine Liquor Commission approves temporary event license and Aldi Class B-1 license

The commission also approved a Class B-1 liquor license application for an Aldi store at 761 East Dundee Road. Staff pointed out the applicant's business plan lists the store's immediate plan as beer and wine sales, but the B-1 license would allow the sale of other spirits should the operator choose to add them in the future.
Both motions passed without opposition during the commission's business; there were no audience objections recorded in the transcript.
