The Tenafly Board of Adjustment conducted routine administrative business at the start and close of its special meeting.
Acting Chairperson Kominsky read the Open Public Meetings Act statement. Mr. Kominsky and Mr. Cytryn were sworn in as re‑appointed board members; Ms. Toro's swearing was scheduled for the Feb. 2, 2026 regular meeting. The Board voted to nominate Mr. Kominsky as temporary Acting Chairperson and to appoint Mr. Hals (Schwanawede Hals & Vince) as temporary Acting Board Engineer for the evening. The Board also nominated Ms. Sharon Peterson for the full position of Board Secretary and approved the Jan. 5, 2026 minutes with an amendment to the attendance list.
With no further business the Board adjourned the special meeting at 10:16 p.m.
