Resident urges later dog licensing deadline; council approves PTA raffles

Separately, the council moved to approve three raffle license applications from Saint Jerome PTA — RL-26-1 (50/50 on-premises), RL-26-2 (on-premises merchandise) and RL-26-3 (off-premises merchandise). Councilman Bray moved to approve the raffle licenses; Councilwoman Ruane seconded and the motions carried unanimously.
In unfinished business, Councilman Bray noted the dog licensing ordinance needs a technical fix because a prior simplification created a mismatch between rabies and licensing requirements; the Borough Administrator said staff members Jenn and Gloria would prepare a proposed fix to present at a later meeting.
