West Long Branch Council adopts 2026 salary ordinances

The Mayor and Council of the Borough of West Long Branch adopted two ordinances on Jan. 21 that set municipal salaries for 2026. Both ordinances passed on roll-call votes with the same tally: AYES — Bray, Gomez, Penta, Ruane, Sniffen; NAYS — none; ABSENT — Cioffi. Publication for the prior legal notices ran in the Asbury Park Press on Jan. 13, 2026, and proofs were placed on file. The council recorded the adoptions as formal actions to take effect per ordinance schedule.
