Chase Brook draft management plan nears completion; maintenance items set for August

Commissioners Ky and Brian reported that most portions of the Chase Brook Management Plan are completed in draft form and may be ready for review by the end of July or early August, with a fall review on track.
Maintenance updates included only one reported pile of dog waste, a new story walk featuring Stalactite & Stalagmite by Drew Beckmeyer, and a second powder-post beetle treatment scheduled for Aug. 5. Woody Dugan will add a hasp and latch to lock the gable-end barn door; the commission is also exploring pollinator signage and posting an article on FPF to promote the site.
