The West Long Branch Zoning Board re-elected Mark Engel as chairman at its Jan. 20, 2026 reorganization meeting in the Council Chambers. The nomination by Mr. Anastasios Diacogiannis, seconded by Mr. Mathew Clark, carried on roll-call votes with seven yeas and two absences.
The board also named Jerry Moczerniuk vice chairman, appointed Michael Steib as Zoning Board Attorney and Libby Waterbury of E.M. Waterbury & Associates, P.A. as Board Engineer/Planner. Andy Thomas of Thomas Associates was adopted as special planner; Jennifer O'Sullivan was confirmed as Board Secretary and Lisa Norman as recording secretary for 2026. Each appointment passed by roll-call vote; the record shows the same members voting in the affirmative where eligible.
