"The Roseville Parkway widening project has been a part of our long term transportation planning," the official said.
Phase 2 will convert existing merging lanes into full through lanes along a portion of Roseville Parkway, the official added, a change intended to create more consistent traffic capacity. The presenter said taking a phased approach allows the city to manage costs and reduce construction disruption.
Officials asked drivers to "allow for extra travel time and use caution when traveling through work zones," and thanked residents for their patience during construction.
