The item was presented by Lieutenant Colonel Oscar Vela and First Sergeant Reynaldo Maldonado.
Trustee Liz Gutierrez moved to approve the travel, with Trustee Belinda Gonzalez seconding the motion. The motion carried 7-0-0. The board listed the travel as an approved district-sponsored trip for extracurricular competition.
