Wellington ISD schedules superintendent evaluation, adds accountability training and safety committee meeting

The Wellington Independent School District Board of Education announced that the superintendent evaluation will take place during the board’s Jan. 13, 2025 regular meeting at noon. According to the superintendent’s report, evaluation forms were to be delivered to board members on Dec. 6 and must be returned to Board President Cody Phillips by Friday, Jan. 10.
A Region 16 representative will be present at the Jan. 13 meeting to provide Team of Eight and EISO Accountability training; a meal will be provided for board members and staff. The report also scheduled a School Safety & Security Committee meeting for Dec. 10 at 9:00 a.m. and noted that an Epic window‑film crew recently installed protective film on several campus doors.
