Superintendent Kurt Ashmore reported to the board that Emily Rueda has resigned and that Daniel Hamner has been hired to replace her. The superintendent also gave scheduling reminders and staff recognition.
Mr. Ashmore "reminded Board members that the Team of Eight and EISO training will follow our regular January Board meeting at noon on January 13th" and noted a Fall School Board Conference at Region 16 will take place the following day. He also reported that secure entry cameras were being installed at the high school and junior high campuses that day and at the elementary school the next day.
Ashmore commended multiple staff members and student groups for the Veteran’s Day program and other recent activities. The minutes do not record additional personnel action taken in open session related to the closed personnel session earlier in the meeting.
