Townsend Conservation Commission seeks volunteers, confirms Aug. 12 meeting

The chair noted the commission has one vacancy and invited interested residents to submit volunteer forms so the item can be placed on a future agenda. "We do have a vacancy," the chair said, noting the process for submitting a form and that the vacancy could be added to the next agenda if a completed form is provided.
Commissioners encouraged community members with interest in serving to turn in applications before the next meeting so the commission can consider them in public session.
