The Chair of the Board of Contracting Supply opened discussion of snow-management services for Zone A, saying the monthly retainage fee for one landscaping contract is $18,052.13. "The monthly retainage fee is $18,052.13," the Chair stated during the meeting.
A committee member asked for clarification and suggested some contractor names may have been assigned to the wrong project on the agenda. "Are we 100% sure that this is accurate as far as what did they get on?" the member asked, prompting the board to agree to review the submissions and correct the agenda if necessary. The members did not record a roll-call tally for this procedural clarification; the discussion ended with a commitment to verify and update the agenda next week.
The board also listed other retainage figures during the procurement section, including an item read as "Anastasia General Contracting" with a monthly retainage of $11,500 and a Zone D urban landscaping entry with a monthly figure of $33,062.50. Several of the vendor names and line items were discussed at length as staff and members worked to match companies to the right procurement line, and the board asked staff to return with corrected documentation.
