The Board of Trustees approved a resolution to grant a minor boundary adjustment on a motion by Tommy Wilson, Sr., seconded by Donny Teate, Jr.; the vote was 7–0. The resolution was listed as VI.B.1 on the agenda and approved in open session.
Superintendent Dr. Rickie Harris explained that appraisal districts redrew lines in 2021, moving some newly added plant into the Bridge City area; he told trustees the district will receive about 9% less than previously anticipated as a result of the redraw. Trustees did not delay action to study alternatives during open session; they approved the resolution that same evening.
