Trustees approved funding for two summer reading presenters: a $400 engagement with Tom Knight and a $300 engagement with Miss Julieanne; Barbara Sweet moved to approve and Tom Downey seconded. Caroline Pynes reported CCS asked the library to produce a short video about the SRP, and the CCS reading specialist will create a bingo card that includes library events.
Trustees chose to purchase museum passes for The Currier, the Wright Museum, Squam Lake Science Center and the USS Constitution. Caroline also reported an anonymous donor sent plants and $250 toward summer reading prizes, and she will send a thank-you note.
A proposed Dungeons & Dragons program for teens and adults was discussed; trustees requested more information and an adult or older-teen leader before committing to the program.
