Staff: INSPIRE ribbon cutting set for June 10; Highland Estates grading under way

Rob Cherry, a planning staff member, told the commission that the INSPIRE project will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony next Tuesday, June 10, at 3:00 p.m., and invited commissioners to RSVP. "June 10, which is next Tuesday, the INSPIRE project is, going to be having their ribbon cutting at 03:00," Cherry said.
Cherry also reported that clearing and grading have begun at the Highland Estates property and that the site work makes the field visible across toward the Devonshire area. He described the activity as an indication that the housing project is "now officially underway" and asked commissioners who want to attend the ceremony to let staff know so RSVPs can be managed.
