Village honors President John Steinbrink Sr. for nearly 40 years of public service

Residents and trustees offered tributes. Jean Werby Harris told the board she had worked with Steinbrink for over 35 years and credited him with securing key infrastructure, tax-increment financing and tourism initiatives that shaped the village. "John, you have truly promoted a wonderful quality of life that has and will benefit all of the people here in Pleasant Prairie," she said. The board also began the process to rename Park Drive to Steinbrink Senior Terrace as part of the recognition process; a formal public hearing and implementation steps were discussed.
