The Weimar ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved the consent agenda on Aug. 19, which included minutes from the July 15 regular meeting and Aug. 6 special meeting, bills paid, the tax collection report, budget projection and budget‑to‑actual reports, and cash balances/financial and investment reports. The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Jeremy Maupin and seconded by Joni VanHouten.
Superintendent Chase Seelke told the board that a refined average daily attendance (ADA) and adjusted revenue figures have resulted in a balanced 2024–25 budget; the board scheduled a 6:00 p.m. Aug. 29 meeting to adopt the district’s 2024–25 budget and tax rates. The minutes do not specify dollar totals or the specific ADA figures.
