A motion by Chad, seconded by Pat, to approve a three-year $20,000-per-year support package failed on a 2–2 roll call (Tim and Dave recorded as no; Pat and Chad recorded as yes in roll call exchange). The council directed staff to include the request in the upcoming budget cycle for formal consideration.
