Chief Financial Officer Thad Lasater told the board the tax-rate decision establishes the district’s annual budget for 2024–2025. Board members did not record a roll-call dissent during the motion. The vote followed a presentation during the meeting’s information items in which Lasater reviewed the mechanics of setting the rate and its role in finalizing budget figures.
