The Wimberley ISD Board on April 20 approved a contract with Texas Air Systems to replace Rooftop Unit RTU-6 at Bridges Gym in the amount of $131,399, with an optional performance bond.
"I move that the Board approve the contract with Texas Air Systems for the replacement of Rooftop Unit (RTU-6) at Bridges Gym in the amount of $131,399 (plus optional performance bond)," Trustee Lindsey Deringer said; the motion, seconded by Dr. Rob Campbell, passed with five votes in favor and two trustees absent (Yea:5, Nay:0, Absent:2).
Administration noted the work addresses HVAC needs in Bridges Gym and will proceed under board-approved procurement and facilities oversight.
