Board approves Formetco contract to repair Texan Stadium scoreboard

"I motion to approve the contract with Formetco for the repairs related to the scoreboard screen at Texan Stadium," Trustee Lindsey Deringer said; the motion, seconded by Dr. Rob Campbell, passed with five votes in favor and two trustees absent (Yea:5, Nay:0, Absent:2).
The Formetco contract was presented alongside other facilities items in the district's bond-program briefing; administration indicated this action will allow stadium technology repairs to proceed under the district procurement process.
