At the Dec. 17 meeting the board approved multiple procurement and vendor agreements that staff said are budgeted for 2025. Staff explained the copier procurement is from the equipment replacement fund and is "not to exceed $130,000," while computer technology purchases were authorized "not to exceed $159,662."
On solid-waste service, staff said the contract with Republic Services includes a 4% price increase for calendar year 2025 and that the village is passing through vendor charges rather than profiting from the service. The board also approved a purchase order for bulk fuel and tank rental services (estimated about $241,500), a 2025 GIS consortium contract (~$96,129.24), and an AMI water-meter software upgrade (~$34,376) that staff said will improve leak detection and analytics.
