Council grants Retailer’s Class G license to Joe’s Italian Villa; new owner to retain menus

The Palos Heights City Council approved an ordinance to issue a Retailer’s Class G license to LazyMe2Day LLC, doing business as Joe’s Italian Villa, for premises at 12207 South Harlem Avenue.
Mayor Robert Straz introduced the item and the new owner, Melissa Martin, addressed the council, saying she is looking forward to taking over and will keep the same recipes. Alderman Jeffrey Key moved approval and Alderman Dan Brennan seconded; the motion passed on roll call with six ayes and no nays.
The action clears the way for the license to be issued for that location; no conditions or restrictions beyond standard licensing procedures were recorded in the minutes.
