At the Jan. 13 meeting the board approved a series of procurement items recommended by the finance committee. Contracts and purchases approved included Sound Incorporated for a certified surveillance technician ($104,900), K.D. Tuckpointing Inc. for building tuckpointing and caulking ($166,700), Nationwide Environmental & Demo, LLC for asbestos abatement at 10071 Higgins Road ($116,000), Site One flower purchases ($144,836), Walker Consultants engineering services ($33,400), and a 1,576-subscription purchase from Journal & Topics Media Group for $85,135.52.
Each contract was moved and seconded as noted in the minutes and recorded as passing unanimously. Trustees recorded their votes for each motion (AYES: Price, Minale, Dorgan, Fazio, Pappas, DiMatteo), and the minutes show departments will proceed with contract execution and standard follow-up reporting.
