The Madrid Town Board approved a motion to purchase a used paver in partnership with the neighboring town of Waddington. Highway Superintendent Bill Barkley said the paver originates from the Town of Lisbon; Madrid's share will be $10,000 for half the purchase cost and the equipment will be entered into a 10-year upgrade schedule.
David Fisher moved to purchase the paver with Waddington; Kevin Finnegan seconded the motion and the board voted all in favor. The board recorded the decision as part of highway equipment planning ahead of winter operations.
