City lists multiple engineering payments, RJN to handle MWRD reporting and on-call services

City staff listed motions to approve professional services payments: Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam ($10,125.90) for Southwest Highway Lift Station rehabilitation rendering; Morris Engineering ($4,733.80) for watermain replacements; RJN Group ($26,437.50) for 2025 sanitary sewer rehabilitation and on-call services; and Strand Associates ($7,357.17) for Alternative Water Supplier Analysis and 131st Street CIPP lining work. The committee also recorded a motion to approve 2026 on-call sanitary, storm, and GIS engineering services with RJN Group not to exceed $25,000.
Administrator Jasinski said RJN will assist with reporting to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District (MWRD), including counts of televised lines, rehabs and manhole work required by MWRD. Because no quorum was present the motions were recorded for City Council consideration.
