The Village of North Riverside Board of Trustees voted March 2 to authorize an intergovernmental agreement with the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) to provide technical assistance for the North Riverside Corridor Plan.
Trustee Bianco moved, and Trustee Tricoci seconded, a resolution ‘‘to Approve and Authorize the Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement for Technical Assistance by and between the Village of North Riverside and the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning.’’ The motion passed on a roll call vote with Trustees Bianco, Czajka, Santucci, Sarro and Tricoci voting aye and Trustee Canas recorded as absent. The resolution is recorded as 26-R-04.
The board’s action authorizes village officials to execute the agreement and accept CMAP’s technical support for the corridor planning effort. Community Development Director Peter Hughes and Village Administrator Sue Scarpiniti were listed in the Request for Board Action read by Trustee Bianco; Attorney Pacione prepared the resolution for full-board consideration.
No further debate or amendments were recorded on the motion at the March 2 meeting. The approval allows staff to proceed with the next steps of the corridor planning process under the terms of the intergovernmental agreement.
