Board approves demolition of two Highland Avenue duplexes for possible park expansion

Board members asked about the condition of the sites after demolition. City staff responded the properties will be sodded and maintained by the city. The item drew no public comment before the board voted. Motion and outcome: Board Member Austin Arthur moved to approve the demolition; Board Member Damon Brider seconded and the motion carried unanimously, 5–0.
