WOISD announces early dismissal and winter-break schedule, upcoming meetings

District leadership announced schedule changes for students and staff: early dismissal on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024 (John F. Kennedy Elementary and West Oso Elementary at 1:15 p.m.; West Oso Junior High and West Oso High School at 2:15 p.m.), no ACE program that day; student winter break Dec. 20, 2024–Jan. 6, 2025; staff winter break Dec. 23, 2024–Jan. 3, 2025; and a professional development day and student holiday on Jan. 6, 2025. The board also noted the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday on Jan. 20, 2025 and announced the next regular meeting for Jan. 21, 2025 and a special team-building meeting on Jan. 30, 2025.
