The Wink-Loving ISD Board began its March 3 meeting by recognizing elementary students Krosby Haws and Urmiah Munoz and Junior High/High School students Kali Clausen and Maverick Creager as Students of the Month for character, effort, and leadership. The minutes describe each student's positive attributes and contributions to the Wildcat Way.
Superintendent Scotty Carman and Athletic Director Brian Gibson reported strong participation in extracurriculars this spring, including Golf, Tennis, UIL, One Act Play, Baseball, Softball, Band, FFA, and district championships for several teams; the HS girls are 24–8 and district and bi-district champions, and the HS boys are 22–9 and district champions. Principals reported enrollment figures (JH/HS 211; Elementary total 231) and listed upcoming events such as UIL competitions, promotion, and graduation.
