The Wink-Loving Independent School District Board of Trustees voted 6–0 on Feb. 6 to approve WRA Architects as the district architect for potential 2025 bond projects and authorized the superintendent to negotiate a contract. Trustee Clayton Hawkins moved approval; Trustee Carrie Purcell seconded.
Board materials cited WRA's work on current projects and identified Derrick York and Avi Patel as the two lead architects the district expects to work on bond projects. "I move that the Board Approve WRA Architects as District Architect for the potential 2025 Bond Projects and Authorize the Superintendent to Negotiate a Contract as presented," Trustee Clayton Hawkins said when moving the motion. The minutes show unanimous approval among trustees present.
