The Wink-Loving ISD Board of Trustees on March 3 approved the district's January financial reports and accepted a monthly tax collection report showing total collections of $100,532,409.77. Trustee Melissa Halterman moved to approve the tax report; Trustee Jerome Dewberry seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
Business Manager Geanna Coker reviewed the district's cash position and investment report while Tax Assessor/Collector Sarah Wilkinson presented the collection figures. Trustees also approved bills paid and payable for January, which totaled $705,656.35; Trustee Halterman moved approval, Trustee Chad Evans seconded, and the motion carried unanimously. The board reviewed the investment report as part of the motion to accept the financials.
