Aaron Whitehead, Athletic Specialist, presented Granite School District's Interscholastic Athletics Report at the Sept. 3 board meeting. "It includes all the information required by HB420," Whitehead said, and the board heard that the report applies a rubric created by the district committee to make the data actionable at individual schools.
Superintendent Ben Horsley thanked Whitehead and the committee for compiling the information in a comprehensive and useful format. Board members were told this is the third year of reporting and that the longitudinal data will be helpful for reviewing trends over time.
