The Cameron Board of Education approved recommendations to hire ten people at its Aug. 26 meeting. The approved hires include Mikaela Leibfried (4th grade teacher, one-year position), Madeline Peters (middle school volleyball coach), Derek Gifford (assistant football coach), Justice Groothousen (assistant football coach), Brian Thompson (night custodian), Andrew Davis (high school biology/science teacher), Grace Razim (bus driver), Tawny Dayton (elementary school kitchen assistant/recess aide), Erin Sayles (Comet Club aide) and Kathi Gilles (middle school library/media center aide). The motion to approve the recommendations was made by Bethany Stevens and seconded by Scott Keeler; the motion carried.
