CESA 10 says Phase 2 of Boyceville referendum will start June 1; village approved bus garage variance

Larson said Phase 1 items are complete except for a few warranty issues and that Phase 2 will include “TCE gym flooring, hallway flooring, tech ed remodel, and locker refinishing and replacement.” He added that the bus garage canopy design is progressing after the village approved a site variance on April 28, 2026, and that outstanding items include the middle school gym floor, irrigation for ball fields, bleacher updates, and site concrete fixes.
Superintendent Nick Kaiser clarified the budgetary split for one pending item: the district will fund irrigation for the TCE practice football field from its maintenance budget rather than the referendum fund. The construction schedule and room closures were described as likely to affect summer school location planning and access to classrooms during the summer work.
