Granton board approves agenda and briefly convenes special meeting

At a special meeting Oct. 21, 2024, the Granton Area School District Board approved the meeting agenda by voice vote and adjourned after adopting the budget; motions to approve the agenda and to adjourn were made by Douglas Eichten and seconded by Mark Elmhorst and Erica Bender respectively.
The Granton Area School District Board opened a special meeting at 8:03 p.m. on Oct. 21, 2024, at the Granton School Central Gym. The board approved the meeting agenda on a motion from Douglas Eichten, seconded by Mark Elmhorst; the motion passed by voice vote.
After completing agenda business, including adoption of the 2024-25 budget and tax levy, Douglas Eichten moved to adjourn at 8:05 p.m.; Erica Bender seconded and the board adjourned by voice vote. Meeting attendance included five board members and district administrators Nancy Popp, Amanda Kraus and Char Johnson.
