In his president's report, Rich Willing described a year of litigation and volunteer-driven recovery work and said the association's lawsuits had been dismissed but a remaining attorney-fee balance of about $110,000 was still outstanding.
"The lawsuits were dismissed by the courts and by the other attorneys... the bottom line is there's a $110,000 still outstanding," Rich said while summarizing legal outcomes and ongoing liabilities. He thanked active board members and numerous volunteers for maintenance, gate and lighting work and other community projects completed over the year.
Members asked follow-up questions about which accounts funded small projects and whether operating or reserve funds had been used; the president and other board members said capital equipment donations and volunteer labor covered many projects while reimbursements and accounting cleanups were being processed through the office.
