At the Sept. 25 meeting the Darlington board voted to accept donations that the minutes record as supporting student service learning and classroom needs. The Bank of New Glarus donated $100 to the DEMS Service Learning Student Activity Account in support of Rosie Bags and another $100 to the DEMS Needy Students/School Supplies account; Wiegel Strong Foundation donated $110.91 for three art room stools; and the Darlington FFA Alumni donated $1,000 to the DEMS Service Learning account.
Each donation was accepted by motion of Carly C. Winslow and seconded by Ben Trout, and each motion was recorded as carried in the minutes. The motions included language thanking the donors; the minutes list account names and amounts but do not record follow-up distribution details.
