Support staff representatives reported that support staff working 36 hours are provided two paid snow days and that the number of personal days and holidays varies by contracted hours. They said hourly staff, especially those working in summer, must track time by the hour and that current Skyward settings force vacation to be taken in quarterly increments, conflicting with policy that allows hourly vacation and personal time.
Personnel and finance committees were asked to examine the policy and fiscal implications of any changes. Mr. Wainwright was asked to investigate the Skyward technical issue to ensure time tracking aligns with board policy. The meeting minutes record that about 20 survey responses informed the discussion; no formal action or vote was taken.
